How to close a Matter

Matter Closing Guide



This guide will provide a short introduction to help you learn how to close matters on your platform.



How to Close a Matter



STEP 1

1) Go and open the matter card of the case you would like to close. This example will open the following case, "Demo Claimant 1 vs. Ryan Respondent".



2) Click "Close Dispute" in the top right-hand corner.



3) You can optionally complete the fields on the summary screen.



4) Type in the Dispute ID for the close confirmation. This is to prevent the case from being closed inadvertently.



5) You will see the following on the matter card once the dispute has been closed.



If you make a mistake or need to reopen a dispute, click 'Reopen Dispute' on the top right menu.

6) The dispute participants will get an email notification that the dispute has been closed.



7) They will see the following on the matter card with the login to view the dispute.
