How to electronically sign a document

This guide will show you how to electronically sign a document.

Your platform enables you to create and sign through electronic signatures through DocuSign. In the platform, you can use the templated settlement agreement or co-draft document created during a web conference or import your document from within the document repository and send it for electronic signatures. These documents can be signed whether you are within a web conference or offline.




Signing a document



1) As a signatory to a document, you would have received an email notification that there is a document to sign. Click on 'View Document' to log in to the platform.



2) Go to the case, click on the DocuSign tab, and you will see the execution version of the document to be signed.



3) Click on "Sign-Now" to view and sign the document.



4) the document to be executed opens in the following dialogue box. You can click 'Continue' to view the document.



5) Scroll down to the last page to view the signature block of the document.



6) Click on "Sign" to insert your signature. The document will also include a date and time stamp indicating when you executed it.



7) Click on "Finish" to close the document.



8 ) You will notice that the 'Sign-Now' button has been removed, and you will only have the option to view your document.



9) The status will change to 'Complete' once all the signatories have signed the document.



10) Click on the icon to download the executed version of the document.



11) Scroll to the last page to see the executed signatures.
