How to setup MFA

How to set Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) involves using two or more different types of actions to verify your identity. For Immediation, you will be required to use an authenticator app. An authenticator app typically gets installed on your smartphone or mobile device and generates time-based one-time password. It is designed to help protect your accounts from unauthorized access.

When logging into Immediation, select the geo-located instance that corresponds to the country where your account is domiciled. For US and Canadian customers, this is app-us.immediation.com, and for Australian customers, this is app.immediation.com.

Immediation uses adaptive MFA. This means that you will not get prompted for your passcode every time you log in. We assess the potential risk during every login transaction and only prompt you for additional verification if appropriate.

1) Log in to Immediation and click the "Profile" tab on the right.

2) Navigate to "Security" from the top menu and then click on "Start MFA Enrollment".

3) Scan the QR Code using your chosen Authentication App.

There are many authentication apps are available on the market. If unsure, Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator are popular and free.

4) Take note of the recovery code after you have entered the passcode generated by your authentication app.

5) You will see the following green tick once MFA has been set up successfully.
